PRACTITIONERS
Dr. Anthony Dileo (Osteopath)
M.H.Sci (Osteo), B.Sc. (Clin.Sci.), MAOA
Anthony practices with an osteopathic philosophy which focuses on applying modern evidence based medicine with traditional osteopathic philosophy with hands on osteopathic techniques.
Anthony has experience in the management of a wide variety of patients and conditions from adults with headaches, TMJ sydrome, back pain, sports injuries, complex pain (e.g. fibromyalgia and arthritic conditions) and pregnancy related pain to infants and babies with feeding complications and colic.
He believes in the osteopathic principals of finding the health of the individual which will enhance recovery, maintain injury prevention, and augment general well-being.
Dr. Drew Howell (Osteopath)
M.H.Sci (Osteo), B.Sc. (Clin.Sci.), MAOA
Dr. Nicholas Arora (Osteopath)
M.H.Sci (Osteo), B.Sc. (Clin.Sci.), MAOA
Drew’s interest in Osteopathy commenced from a very young age which eventually lead to a mentor program by a well-known Osteopath in NSW. Drew's passion for osteopathy lead him to Victoria University in Melbourne where he went on to complete his Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and Masters of Health Science degrees.
Taking a structural approach to treatments, including a deep bio-mechanical understanding of the function of the body, Drew utilises an array of Osteopathic Techniques, Dry Needling and Rehabilitation with patients. He has a deep respect for alternative medical modalities, and is always seeking the best outcome for the patient, understanding each patient is unique and requires different care.
Nick has a Masters in Osteopathy gained from Victoria University where he completed his masters study on the effectiveness of cranial osteopathy in treating juvenile asthma. He is deeply interested in the philosophy of osteopathy, in particular the body's ability to heal itself, an idea always in the back of his mind when working with patients.
Nick is continually updating his skills at seminars and workshops. He has a particular interest in the fascial-connective tissue system, which acts like a glue holding the body together. Through working with these tissues Nick aims to identify long held maladaptive patterns that are often responsible for slowing the healing process and incomplete resolution of sometimes very old injuries.
